The department of mechanical engineering was stared in the academic year 2011-2012 with aim of promoting high quality education, the department currently offer diploma engineering program in mechanical engineering following the MSBTE Mumbai.
Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines. One of the most diverse and versatile engineering field, mechanical engineering is study of object and system in motion.
Every year technical event “Techwings” is organized for students to explore the knowledge and interact with other institute students. The department toppers in board exam have been felicities and encouraged for continuous achievements.
Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical engineers design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalators.
